LATE FEE POLICY

 At CAMP IN A BOX - Adventure Delivered!, we strive to provide all customers with high-quality, well-maintained camping gear for their adventures. To ensure availability for all renters, it is essential that all gear is returned on time and in good condition.


Return Deadline

  • All camping gear must be returned on or before the due date listed in your booking confirmation. Timely returns help us prepare kits for the next camper and avoid service delays.

Late Fees

  • If rental gear is not returned by the agreed due date, a $20 fee per day will be charged.
  • If the gear is not returned within 3 days after the due date, it will be treated as lost. You will be charged the full replacement value of the items and your security deposit may be forfeited.

Required Returns

  • Please ensure that all items included in your rental package are returned in full, with the exception of disposable or single-use items such as fire-starters or other consumables specified in your kit.
  • Missing gear may result in additional charges or full replacement costs.

Extensions & Early Returns

  • If you need to extend your rental period, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to check availability. Additional rental days will be charged accordingly.
  • Early returns are always welcome, but please note: no refunds or credits are issued for unused rental days.

Damaged or Dirty Returns

To keep our gear in the best condition for all renters:


  • No need to launder sleeping bags, tents, or other fabric items—we take care of all washing and deep cleaning.
  • Please return all items dry, free of food or any other residue, and in good condition.
  • Do not pack wet or damp items to prevent mold.
  • Cooking gear should be rinsed before returning.
  • A cleaning fee of $25 will apply for excessively dirty or wet gear.
  • Damaged items will be assessed for repair costs, or the full replacement cost will be charged if irreparable.
